2 pounds Brussels sprouts
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons sugar in the raw
6 tablespoons butter or vegan butter, melted
2 teaspoons Salt and pepper mix
Balsamic glaze, store bought
1 cup roasted garlic cloves, warm
Heat oven to 400F˚
Wash and trim the bud end of the Brussels sprouts. Cut in half and remove any outer leaves.
In a mixing bowl, combine vegetable oil, sugar, melted butter, salt and pepper and mix to combine
Add Brussels sprout to the mixture and stir until Brussels sprouts are well coated. Place sprouts on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, flat side up, and roast for 20 minutes, or until a skewer or fork is able to pass through with only slight resistance. Remove from oven and transfer Brussels sprout to a serving dish, sprinkle roasted garlic and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve warm.
Note: Sprinkle with crispy cooked, chopped bacon before serving to make us carnivores happy too.
I have done this recipe in my Air-Fryer and they came out great.
